RHD clinician modules



Target audience: Clinicians and senior health staff who are working in the areas of acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD).

Course summary: This education package of 15 modules provides the clinical workforce with self-paced, interactive learning tools to improve the prevention, control and management of ARF and RHD. Once the module has been started, it needs to be completed in its entirety. Users will be advised how long a module takes to complete before starting a module.

The modules cover the following topics:

On completion of the education modules, you are eligible for a certificate for evidence of continual professional development (CPD) hours for national registration with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Australian College of Nursing (ACN). Each clinician module is worth one core point with ACRRM and 1 CPD hour with ACN.
