Quitskills for Youth Workers

 

Overview

The Quitskills for Youth Workers training is a component of Cancer Council South Australia's Quitskills program, a nationally recognised smoking cessation training program. Quitskills provides participants with the confidence to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to think about their smoking and support them with any changes they wish to make.

Quitskills for Youth Workers is a two-day training program with a specific focus on smoking cessation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.

There is currently only one workshop planned for Victoria, but more may become available later in 2018. Quitskills is a free course, however please note that registration is essential.
