Apology to the Stolen Generations: 10 Years on - Afternoon Tea

 

Overview

Tuesday 13 February, 2018 marks the 10th anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations by the then Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd.

The State Library of Queensland (Qld) will be hosting a discussion with Mark Baumgart from Reconciliation Qld to reflect on the significance and lasting outcomes of the National Apology, followed by a screening of the apology and afternoon tea.

The event will be held at 2pm kuril dhagun & Talking Circle, Level 1, State Library of Qld, South Brisbane.
