Nutrition Support Program

 

Overview

This one day course is designed to provide detailed information and advice in relation to nutrition and dietary management. The program will provide students with the knowledge and understanding of the principles of nutritional requirements and the body systems, so they are able to recognise how human behaviour and cultural factors may influence their clients diets.

Students will be able to demonstrate appropriate strategies to monitor a clients response to the information and education and comply with the instructions of the dietitian and be aware of protocols for client documentation.

This program includes competency HLTAHA023 Support the Provision of Basic Nutrition Advice and Education.

The course will be delivered at the following locations during 2018:

New South Wales

Victoria

Queensland

South Australia

Northern Territory

The course is delivered across Australia by The Benchmarque Group.
