Closing the Gap: What's Next for Victoria?

Overview

The national Closing the Gap agenda and the Victorian Aboriginal Affairs Framework (VAAF) expire in 2018.

These are important documents - they tell government what matters to the Aboriginal community, and how it can support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Victorians to build strong communities.

The Department of Premier and Cabinet recognises that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Victorians know what is best for themselves, their families and their communities, and wants to make sure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders expertise and leadership drive the refresh of both frameworks.

This event allows people to provide feedback on the Closing the Gap agenda and the Victorian Aboriginal Affairs Framework.
