Nutrition and Dietetics: New Frontiers for Delivering Health to Australians

Overview

This event will celebrate the golden anniversary of nutrition and dietetics at the University of Sydney. It will also celebrate the health services dietitians who have delivered diabetic services over the past 50 years. It will also explore the new frontiers of delivering better nutrition to halt the rise of chronic disease in Australia.

Diet is the second leading cause of chronic disease in Australia but as smoking declines it will quickly become the number one modifiable factor to reduce early death.

The seminar will be held at The University of Sydney, Veterinary Science Conference Centre, Webster Lecture Theatre on Friday 27 October 2017.
