Breathe Easy Walk Easy - Nhulunbuy

 

Overview

Breathe Easy, Walk Easy provides participants with the skills and knowledge to set up and evaluate local pulmonary rehabilitation programs for their patients. Pulmonary rehabilitation is an evidence-based multidisciplinary chronic lung disease program that has proven outcomes in increasing patient exercise capacity, quality of life and reducing health care utilisation. 

This event aims to increase the capacity of GP's and other health care providers to deliver an evidenced-based lung health program in their community and will cover the following topics:

Participants will develop the skills to identify, assess and manage care through individualised patient exercise, education and self-management programs (pulmonary rehabilitation).

Target audience is all interested health professionals at no cost who:

Registrations will close on the 11 June 2017. Places on this event are limited to 15 and early registration is essential.
