Ngala Karla Fete

 

Overview

This free event is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, history and reconciliation. The Ngala Karla Fete is an afternoon of activities, food, raffles, competitions, information displays and fundraising stalls.

A particular focus will be celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Referendum. Funds raised will be for the benefit of an organisation supporting Aboriginal youth.

This event is for Edith Cowan University (ECU) students, staff and the general public.

It is presented by ECU's Centre for Learning and Teaching.

The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet will be holding a cafe' at this event.
