Seminar: Losing Sugar Without Losing Profits

Overview

This free seminar will report on findings from a trial carried out by Alfred Health on-site retailers. To achieve the shift in buying behaviour among staff, patients and visitors, Alfred Health partnered with its key on-site retailers to conduct four behavioural insights trials on the drinks environment. The trials tested whether relatively small changes in the placement and price of beverages would impact consumer choice and retail profit.

The findings will be presented by Kirstan Corben, Lead for Population Health and Health Promotion at Alfred Health in Victoria.

There will also be an opportunity for questions and discussion.

If you would like to participate via videoconferencing from a satellite University of Sydney campus, please contact Healthy Sydney University in advance of the seminar.

This event is co-hosted by Healthy Sydney University and the Food Governance Node of the Charles Perkins Centre.
