Dementia Essentials

 

Overview

This free three-day nationally accredited course is designed to assist workers supporting people living with dementia. Strategies are explored to assist with good communication, planning and developing appropriate activities and understanding behaviours in people living with dementia.

Topics include:

Participation at all three sessions is essential and the completed competency can be credited towards further study in aged care.

The course is delivered by Alzheimer's Australia.
