The Role of Community Service Workers and Tobacco Use

Overview

This half day workshop will equip staff with the capacity to support clients to cut down and eventually quit using tobacco. This involves brief intervention training as well as identifying referral pathways and support.

The workshop is led by the Western Australian Council of Social Services  (WACOSS) and it is not Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander specific, although some culturally appropriate material may be covered.
