2017 Ella 7's Coffs Harbour

 

Overview

This is the flagship Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Rugby Union 7s tournament that attracts around 400 athletes, 20 state class referees and ball boys, and 20 officials from the Australian Rugby Union, New South Wales Rugby Union and Lloyd McDermott Development Team. The tournament is the premier Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Rugby Union 7s tournament in Australia and is a key marketing tool to bring the game of rugby to a wider Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population.

The women's pool games will be held on Friday 3 March commencing 6:30pm.

All men's games and women finals will be held on Saturday 4 March.

Games will commence at 9:00am with the final game played at 5:30pm.

This event is named after the Ella brothers, Gary, Glen and Mark who played for the Wallabies during the 1980's.
