Carbohydrate Counting for Managing Diabetes

 

Overview

This one-day program is designed to increase knowledge and confidence required to accurately count carbohydrates in exchanges and grams to match different insulin regimes and insulin pump therapy. 

The program will provide dietitians with skills to teach clients to carbohydrate count, and diabetes educators to understand the principles when working with clients to manage type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes.
