This two-day Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) Education Workshop will focus on the prevention, control and management of acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and RHD in Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This seminar is for health professionals, students and people who work in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The workshop will engage participants with a combination of objective-driven information sessions, and consolidate that knowledge with a series of targeted clinical and practical studies. It will provide insights from a patient, clinical and scientific research perspective.
RHDAustralia will provide attendants with a certificate for 12 AHPRA Continuing Professional Development points.
