6th Annual NHMRC Symposium on Research Translation 2017

Overview

This Annual National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Symposium on Research Translation, co-hosted by the NHMRC and the Lowitja Institute, will focus on the theme The butterfly effect: translating knowledge into action for positive change.

The Symposium will focus on the action needed to improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by analysing and discussing relevant health, wellbeing and medical research and knowledge translation. It will provide networking opportunities for delegates to learn from, and establish relationships, with others working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.

HealthInfoNet Cafe

The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet will be hosting a cafe at this event and delivering a presentation about its collaboration with The Fred Hollows Foundation to develop knowledge translation products about eye health.
