Western Australian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Sector State Conference 2017

 

Overview

This annual conference, hosted by the Australian Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA), will focus on the theme Aboriginal health care and well-being approach as well as Aboriginal youth. It will explore the Aboriginal perspective of the circle of life and will include the following topics:

New information on health initiatives and government updates on the future of the sector will be provided throughout the conference by a range of guest speakers. A panel discussion on Aboriginal youth, particularly youth employment in the health sector will also be available.

The conference will provide delegates with an opportunity for professional development, networking and capacity building as well as a forum to share their personal experiences.

Please note that the AHCWA Members' Planning Day will also be held prior to the conference on Tuesday 4 April.
