Yabun

 

Overview

Yabun Festival is the largest one day celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures in Australia, held annually on January 26, upon the traditional lands of the Gadigal people in Sydney, New South Wales. Established in 2001, Yabun, meaning music to a beat in the Gadigal language, is a free event that features:

Yabun Festival welcomes everyone to engage with the Gadigal and other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
