This event will provide information on the renewed program commencing in 2017 which takes into account the national school HPV vaccination program and will provide a better understanding of cervical cancer development, the availability of reliable HPV testing in primary care and evidence on the efficacy of cervical screening programs worldwide. The renewed screening program aims to further reduce the incidence of cervical cancer by increasing screening participation, improving identification of women at higher risk of developing cervical cancer and continuing an effective management pathway for screen-detected abnormalities.
