Breast Cancer Support for Aboriginal Women Workshop

 

Overview

This free two day workshop is open to all Aboriginal Health Workers and Aboriginal health care staff working in Aboriginal health.

The workshop will include information on:

The workshop will also include small group seminars, a tour of the cancer treatment facilities at the Westmead Hospital and attendance at a multidisciplinary breast cancer meeting.

A travel assistance allowance of up to $120 is available for eligible applicants who need to travel to attend the workshop. This can support transport, parking and/or overnight accommodation. It can be claimed for reimbursement after the event.

Places are limited and registration is essential.

This workshop is funded by a Pink Pony Seeding Grant from Cancer Australia awarded to Westmead Breast Cancer Institute 2016.
