The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet and The Fred Hollows Foundation invites eye health professionals and related sector workers to three free workshops on using the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Eye Health web resource. The workshops focus on accessing and sharing information to help optimise everyday health practice.
The workshops aim to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills to efficiently access information on the Eye Health web resource and use the online Yarning Place network to share their experience and learn from others working across Australia.
Audience: Health professionals working in eye health and related sectors. There will be a focus on diabetic retinopathy and people working in the diabetes sector are encouraged to attend.
Intended outcome: To demonstrate how accessing and using the Eye Health web resource can save workers time and help optimise their everyday health practice.
