The Leaders in Indigenous Medical Education (LIME) Connection VII Conference

Overview

This biennial conference will focus on the theme The future of Indigenous health education: leadership, collaboration, curriculum. It connects Indigenous and non-Indigenous medical educators, Indigenous health specialists, policy makers and community members from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States of America to discuss approaches in Indigenous medical education and the experiences of practitioners. It aims to encourage and support collaboration within and between medical schools as well as to build multi-disciplinary and multi-sectoral links.

Delegates will be provided with an opportunity for professional development, networking and capacity-building.

As part of the conference, the LIMElight awards will also be presented. These awards honour excellence in student recruitment, support and graduation; health curriculum implementation; community engagement; and leadership.

LIMElight applications close Friday 27 January 2017.
