SMART Recovery Facilitator Training Course

 

Overview

The SMART (Self-management and Recovery Training) Recovery Program offers two-day Facilitator Training Courses for people who wish to learn how to deliver the program.

SMART Recovery is a face-to-face or online counselling program, offered to people in communities who require help managing and overcoming addictive behaviours and associated problems. The program is also run in all correctional facilities in New South Wales (NSW) and Tasmania (Tas).

The training will provide participants with the opportunity to learn how to deliver the program, as well as how to facilitate a group meeting. Content covered by the training session includes:
