Indigenous Allied Health Australia National Forum and Awards

 

Overview

The Indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA) National Forum offers great professional development workshops for allied health graduates, students and the wider health workforce. The theme of the 2016 forum is Valuing diversity in allied health.

The workshop topics will cover a broad range of themes to provide opportunities to increase participant's knowledge and skills within the contact of improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing. On completion of the workshops, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

The purpose of the IAHA National Indigenous Allied Health Awards is to recognise the contribution of IAHA members to their profession and/or improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

In conjunction with the National Forum, IAHA will also be hosting the HealthFusion Team Challenge from 27-29 November 2016.

Key dates:

Please note: This is the only major event IAHA will be holding in 2016.
