Culture-Centred Workshop: Indigenous Australians' Perspectives

 

Overview

This workshop is intended for allied health clinicians, registered nurses, enrolled nurses and assistants in nursing.

It will consider principles of person and culture-centred care of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples with a life-limiting illness, their families and communities. The workshop will encourage discussion on culture, protocols, end of life choices of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples that are decided upon with their families, community and connections to traditional land.
