Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder prevention in Aboriginal communities

 

Overview

This workshop offers training in Perth, Western Australia, regarding working with Aboriginal women of child bearing age in conjunction with Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) awareness and prevention resources. Culturally secure strategies for reducing alcohol-related harm during pregnancy will be a central focus.

Community service providers from all sectors who work with Aboriginal women, their families and communities are invited to register. Training content is endorsed by the Australian College of Nursing (ACN) according to approved criteria. Attendance may attract six ACN points.
