PHAIWA and Croakey launch the Twitter Challenge

The Public Health Advocacy Institute of Western Australia (PHAIWA) and Croakey are challenging academics and researchers to join Twitter for a 30 day trial in an effort to get more key research messages disseminated throughout the sector.

Dr Melissa Stoneham from the PHAIWA has been questioning why more academics don't embrace Twitter, especially as recent evidence has shown that Twitter is a good tool for public interest discussions and investigations.
